日本のアートの根底には、「茶の湯」の思想が確かに流れています。それは単なる作法や伝統文化ではなく、人と作品が出会うことの意味を問い直す、美の体系です。 私たちは、日本のアートは The Art of Tea であると考えます。 本企画展では、藝大アートプラザをひとつの「床の間」に見立て、平面作品5名、立体作品5名による展示をしつらえました。 また、併せて工芸作家8名による茶碗も展示・販売いたします...

6月20日より藝大アートプラザで開催中の企画展「THE ART OF TEA」に参加しています🍵

「茶の湯」の思想をテーマに、会場を床の間と見立てるという趣旨の企画展です。

それぞれの空間は2名の作家による平面・立体作品が組み合わせてしつらえられ、相互の関係も見所どころの一つです。

現在仕上げている作品が完成次第、途中で作品を入れ替えさせていただく予定です。

Scenes from the ongoing exhibition “THE ART OF TEA.” at Geidai Art Plaza in Ueno 🍵

Inspired by the philosophy of chanoyu (the Japanese tea ceremony), this exhibition regards the gallery space as a tokonoma alcove.

Each setting brings together two artists’ two-dimensional and three-dimensional works, with the relationships between the pieces forming one of the exhibition’s key points of interest.

Once the work currently in progress is completed, I may replace one of my works during the exhibition…!
